Student, Sportsman, Balloonist?

This is Captain Frederick Gustavus Burnaby who was described as a  "Soldier, traveller and balloonist". Reputedly the strongest man in the British army, he is seen here lazing on a sofa with a map of the British Empire behind him. Nothing modest about this portrait.

Sportsman, student, leader, charismatic entrepreneur, Jamie Willgress is seen lazing on a James I chest at Marley Hall --- quite at home in the ornate surroundings of a grand Baronial Hall. At this sitting, Jamie's father said "David, I think we have the start of a portrait!"
