Portrait of Jamie Willgress

For his portrait Jamie wanted to be formal yet informal, so the jacket found its way to its usual position, flung casually over one shoulder. Jamie was busily chatting away on an old oak settle in the great hall at Marley as David sketched this comfortable pose for Jamie, which shows all the components of a charismatic and handsome young man enthusiastic for his future. Commissioned for Jamie’s 21st birthday.
